Obviously, these photos were taking before winter storm Juno or the snowstorm this week that slammed the East coast. I miss seeing the grass because now all I see is piles and piles of snow. Although the weather has changed in the last couple weeks, my love for this outfit still remains the same.
Whenever I wear this outfit, I always confuse people. They look at me and they think I am wearing a sweater, but then at a different angle people think I am wearing a poncho. This poncho/sweater has been one of my favorite fashion pieces because it is different and causes peoples’ heads to turn. The best part about this poncho and sweater combo is how comfortable it is. It feels like I am wearing a blanket, keeping me warm on those frigid winter days. The cream and black colored tribal pattern and fringe detailing adds to the uniqueness of this piece.
I love pairing this sweater/poncho combo with my Madewell jeans. I can’t express how much I love these jeans. Ever since I bought these Madewell jeans, I have been wearing them non-stop. The light wash with distressed detailing makes them a versatile piece to pair with anything.
I threw on a pair of heeled boots and some of my favorite accessories and this outfit is complete.
Whenever I find a clothing item that has more flair and uniqueness than a typical Forever 21 piece, I feel like I’ve won the lottery. My hunt for more distinctive fashion pieces continues.
