I Love My Boyfriend (Jeans)

Who needs a boyfriend when you have a pair of fabulous jeans? Sadly, there’s no man in my life; however, I am in a committed relationship with my new boyfriend jeans from Madewell.

It wasn’t until recently, I jumped on the boyfriend jeans bandwagon. It seems like the skinny jean trend has died out. Now all the buzz is about slouchy, shapeless jeans. Every time I try on a pair of boyfriend jeans, I feel stupid and out of place; however that changed when I took a risk and bought a pair of boyfriend jeans. It has taken some time for me to get use to the fit because I have been so use to tight fitting jeans. Now that I am use to boyfriend jeans, I am obsessed with the loose, comfy fit. Best part about boyfriend jeans is they are so easy to style. One pair of boyfriend jeans can create several outfits. I have seen these jeans paired with blazers, t-shirts, wedges, boots, sneakers, stilettos, and so on.

I love the look of my Madewell boyfriend jeans. I think the distressed design gives my jeans a laidback look. Hands down, Madewell has the best jeans and that means a lot coming from someone who has always hated jeans. One of my favorite ways I’ve seen bloggers style boyfriend jeans is with a simple, solid V-neck tee. My $5 black V-neck shirt from H&M perfectly matched my jeans and the style I was going for.

Usually I don’t wear statement accessories, but this outfit needed a long necklace. Whenever I want to add the boho style to an outfit, I choose my Lucky Brand necklace, which features gold charms and pops of turquoise beads. As I mentioned above, boyfriend jeans look great with really any type of shoe. For me, I love wearing these leopard slip-on sneakers from Target. Every outfit needs a little leopard, don’t you agree? It was a super hot and sunny day. No matter what the temperature is I always want to wear my boyfriend jeans; the things I do for fashion. To shield my eyes from the sun, I chose to wear my rounded sunglasses from Urban Outfitters.

Next time you are shopping, pick up a pair of boyfriend jeans, even if you don’t think you will look good in them. The decision to buy my first pair of boyfriend jeans was well worth it. Here’s to being single and ready to mingle, of course while wearing my boyfriend jeans.
