My Thoughts On The ‘Camp: Notes On Fashion’ Exhibit

Two weeks ago, I finally visited the ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Although, I live a short walk across the park from the museum, it took me this long to visit the exhibit, which started in May and ends beginning of September.  The star-studded Met Gala back on the first Monday in May commenced the unique theme of the exhibit.  This year’s theme was inspired by Susan Sontag’s essay “Notes on ‘Camp’” published in 1964. NYFW RECAP

If you were in hibernation this past week or living under a rock, let me give you a recap of one of the biggest events in the fashion industry, New York Fashion Week. This year, New York Fashion week began on Thursday, September 10 and ended the following Thursday, September 17. Throughout the week, designers featured their Spring and Summer 2016 collections.
