Last week was a crazy week to say the least. I finished my sophomore year of college, packed up my college dorm room, moved back home for the summer, and left my teenage years behind. I celebrated my 20th birthday on Sunday, May 10th. Sunday was a day of celebration because it was not only my birthday but it was also Mother’s Day. Meet Christina: Her Experience at The Makeup Show NYC It wasn’t until rooming with Liv this past year that I began to gain more interest in the world of makeup. It was an honor getting the chance to attend The Makeup Show in New York City this past weekend with Liv. With makeup artists and beauty experts crowding the aisles, this show was unlike anything I could have imagined. It was truly an experience I will never forget. Beauty experts from various companies were not only welcoming, but also extremely helpful when answering all of my amateur questions. From eye shadows to fake lashes, there was something to cater to anyone’s beauty needs. At first I took in my surroundings, and eventually I felt like somewhat of a pro as I swatched eyeliners and shadows…

It was nice to take a break from college life and spend the week at home, catching up on sleep, relaxing, and working on my blog. One day, I was feeling adventurous and creative, so I hopped on the train and journeyed to New York City. I was determined to take tons of photos for my blog. As always, the streets of New York inspired me and I captured some great shots for this post. On to my outfit, I refuse to wear my winter coat anymore. I officially retired my coat for the season, despite the weather still being on the chilly side, but once it reached 40 degrees consistently…
