Be Thankful

Can someone please explain to me how it’s already Thanksgiving? I swear it was July yesterday.  I can’t believe another holiday season has begun.  Although, I am not the biggest fan of Thanksgiving food, I love what the holiday symbolizes, the start of the countdown to Christmas and most importantly giving thanks for all the wonderful people and things in your life.  This year, like in every year past I will be heading back home from the city to Connecticut and celebrate at my aunt’s house surrounded by my family and lots of wine to get through all the family… View Post

So Fall

I have a love / hate relationship with fall.  I love the season for its fashion but hate the season knowing that winter is right around the corner.  I’m trying not to think about the long, cold, and snowy days ahead but embracing the jeans, chunky sweaters, and boots before I have to cover up my outfits with a bulky winter coat.  So keep on reading to see today’s look, which is what I like to call my so fall look because it features all of the fall fashion essentials and the beautiful colors of fall. This sweater was a… View Post

Kimono Krazy

Here on my blog, I have talked about being guilty of having multiples of similar clothing items in my closet.  For me those pieces consist of all things camo print, countless number of denim jackets, and more recently kimonos.  I’m currently looking at my wardrobe and nothing is more satisfying than seeing all my beautiful kimonos lined up perfectly next to each other.  Each one of my kimonos are from different stores, with varying colors, textures, and patterns, but all are used to complete any outfit.  Keep on scrolling to see how I style one of my most unique and… View Post

All Bundled Up

The title of this blog post is very misleading because I have been anything but bundled up the past few days.  The East Coast is experiencing the warmest December ever.  I’ve only worn my winter coat once, but like I said in my previous post, I am not complaining. I have no desire to see snow or bear the frigid temperatures of a normal northeast winter.  Although, it has been warmer than usual, it is still cold enough to wrap myself up in my favorite blanket scarf. The plaid blanket scarf trend has exploded this winter season.  Now everyone is… View Post

Poncho Season

Hooray for the poncho trend, which comes in handy for those crisp, fall mornings when you just feel like showing up to class wrapped in a warm comfy blanket. A poncho is basically a warm piece of fabric that drapes across your body. It’s hard to find something more comfy, cozy, and stylish than a poncho. It’s so easy to style your poncho with jeans or leggings, a simple long-sleeve shirt, boots, and minimal jewelry. You’ll look like you’re walking down the runway, when in reality you did not want to leave your bed that morning. The poncho featured in… View Post

Before The Sun Sets

Daylight saving time has really hit me hard. And, in case you didn’t know it is “saving” not “savings.” It’s been a week and I still can’t get used to the time change. Walking back from class at five o’clock and it is pitch black outside really makes me long for spring. Plus, by like seven o’clock I am so ready for bed. I guess this only means one thing…the winter is coming! It was such a beautiful day so I could not let the day pass without going outside to take a few photos. Sadly, I had class until… View Post

On Repeat

Nothing is better than escaping college life by getting in the car, going off campus, and doing some shopping, even if it is by yourself. A few days ago I found out that retail therapy does exist. I was feeling a little down, and decided to pick myself up with something I love to do and that something is shopping. I was pretty bummed that nobody was around to go on a shopping trip with me, but what I found is that a little me time is just what I needed to overcome my blues. On another note, it has… View Post

Autumn Days Are Here Again

From bright green leaves to rich red leaves, from hot, humid days to crisp, chilly afternoons, from lightweight dresses to chunky sweaters, from strappy sandals to knee high boots… autumn days are here again. Hands down, autumn is my favorite season. I love the changing leaves, the cool air, the pumpkin spice lattes, and of course the fall fashion.  One thing that I don’t love about the month of October, the heart of the fall season, is midterms, which is why I have been so absent from my site.  Once October hits, I spend the majority of my days and… View Post
