Hello again.  So sorry for my absence on my blog.  For all of those who don’t know I decided to go blonde and I was to busy testing out the theory if blondes do have more fun.  Just kidding (well half kidding).  I did dye my hair blonde but I have been super busy with school work. Being a second semester junior is not easy.  But now I have more time for my blog and fun things, so I will get back to you on the theory if blondes do have more fun. I am so excited to show you another one of my favorite outfits, as well as debut my new blonde doo.  Now that the weather is changing, I am even more inspired to experiment with new clothing and trends, and of course go shopping. Today’s look is an outfit I would wear to class or wear for a night out. I love putting together outfits that can be worn in different scenarios.  I love the subtle pops of color in my outfit. After all, that is what the spring season is all about; driving or walking about and seeing random pops of colorful flowers blooming.             I…

The end of February means a few things… spring break is near, it stays light longer, no more snow (hopefully), and most importantly the Academy Awards.  I sometimes get the Sunday night blues, but not on the Sunday when the Academy Awards are on. This year, I was surprised at how many movies I knew.  Honestly, I did not see one movie nominated but I knew the plot and the characters, so that’s all that counts right?  Fashion aside, I am so happy Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Oscar; it was about time, but for some reason, I had a feeling he was not going to win (anyone else have that same feeling?).  Although, I did not stay up to see him accept his award, I checked Twitter when I randomly woke up in the middle of the night at 3 A.M. and was so pleased he was the winner. Now back to fashion. I have to admit I was not overly impressed with the looks on the red carpet. Nothing blew me away, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a best and worst dressed list, so below you will find my picks of celebrities who scored a 10…

“When words fail, music speaks” is such a relatable quote for those days when you are swamped with work and need some inspiring music, or looking for upbeat tunes to put you in a good mood, or when you are getting ready for a night out and looking for songs to pump you up. Music is an important part of my life. I love listening to music, filling the silence in the background, and discovering new songs and artists to jam out to. Since my taste in music is changes with my mood, music-streaming services are my best friend because I can discover different songs and playlists to fit my mood and the occasion. I am so excited that I found a new subscription based streaming service, called TIDAL. It’s not just your normal streaming service, but has tons of features, including all your favorite music from all your favorite artists, a section to discover up and coming artists, a collection of music and concert videos, and the best part is that musicians like Prince, Rihanna, Kayne West, and Beyoncé have created their own playlists and shared exclusive new music. Some of my favorite playlists include TIDAL Relax, Early Morning…

I was known as the little girl with the mushroom haircut.  Perfectly pin straight hair that reached just about to my ears.  For years, I rocked the mushroom cut but I no longer sport that style because thankfully I’ve been introduced to a blow dryer, a round brush, and volumizing hair products.  But these days, I still like my short hair, but that was not always the case.  Over the years I went from the mushroom cut, to long flowing hair, to taking a risk and cutting off 14 inches to a pixie cut, and now I’m somewhere in the middle sporting a bob.  It’s funny to think that my hair has a history of its own.  I’ve never been one to stick to one hairstyle because I get bored easily and like to switch it up.  After all, life is too short to be boring. So keep reading to see my hairstyle through the years. Elementary School: Flashback to those days I would skip down the hallways with my short hair blowing in the wind while wearing my maroon plaid school uniform, which was practically down to my ankles.  Of course, nothing completed the look better than a white-collared…

I am certain that everyone has experienced sadness, disappointment, lack of motivation, and so on. It’s only natural, we are human. I am a big fan of quotes. Whenever I feel stuck or down in the dumps I always head to Pinterest (CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW ME ON PINTEREST) and find some inspiring words and phrases to help me keep going. This brings me to the theme of today’s post. It was inspired by one of my recently discovered quotes “No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up.” After reading this phrase, I decided to pull myself together, head to my closet and pick out an outfit that makes me look good and feel good. Of course, I had to choose my faux fur vest. My Design Lab faux fur vest just radiates confidence. I love the color blocked detail, featuring shades of red, cream, black, and tan. Such a versatile piece you can layer it over a dress, pair it with leather pants, or a simple pair of jeans, like I did today. These are not just any pair of jeans, they are my new favorite high-riser jeans from Madewell. The soft…
