Show Me Your Teeth

IMG_2160

It’s no secret that I am a huge Lady Gaga fan.  From her unique personality, her distinct style, and her catchy music, I try to channel my inner Lady Gaga whenever I get the chance.  No, you will not find me wearing a meat dress like Lady Gaga did at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, but whatever chance I get, I love wearing more edgier pieces, especially ones that feature sparkles and of course some quirky detail.  Of course, I had to name this post after one of my favorite Lady Gaga songs, Teeth.  Recently, I can’t stop listening to all of Lady Gaga’s albums on Spotfiy, no wonder why Lady Gaga has been on my brain and has inspired some of my recent style choices.

IMG_2152

IMG_2126

Today’s look is totally different.  Maybe I would not wear it to class, but you bet I would wear this down to New York City or for a night out in town. This look consists of my two favorite styles, edgy and sporty, and you can’t forget the leather and sparkles.

IMG_2209

My new cropped sweatshirt from Romwe just screams Lady Gaga, don’t you think? I love the simple gray sweatshirt with the sparkly lip icon front and center.  If you like my sweatshirt, I’ll bet you will like everything on Romwe.com.  Check out Romwe for your one stop shop for all things fashion.  You will get lost in their selection of dresses, tops, skirts, kimonos, accessories, and much, much more.  To compliment my top and the sparkles, I decided to wear my faux leather mini skirt from H&M. I decided to tuck in parts of my sweatshirt for more of a laid back vibe and also to show off the zipper detail of my skirt.

IMG_2201

IMG_2160

IMG_2161

You can easily throw on a pair of your favorite heels with this outfit, but to keep it more sporty and casual, I busted out my new babies, my high-top Vans.  I can’t get over the fit and design of these sneakers. I know I’ll be wearing these sneakers to death during the spring and summer seasons.  I guess all the Lady Gaga music, sparkles, and leather got to my head because I decided to wear my favorite black framed sunglasses to spice up my look.  I have to admit I do feel pretty cool in this outfit.

IMG_2213

Simple, sporty, and edgy was the look I was going for today and if I do say so myself, I think I nailed it, all thanks to Romwe, H&M, Vans, and Lady Gaga’s one-of-a-kind taste in fashion. Let me know in the comments below what celebrities inspire your fashion choices. Until next time…

Finals Week Attire

IMG_1294

Alleluia!  Finals are over!  Yesterday I handed in my last final and officially completed my first semester of junior year.  Like always, the semester flew.  I can’t believe I only have three more semesters until graduation.  Such a scary thought.  My fall semester was very fun until you come back from Thanksgiving break and you realize you have three seven page papers due and two finals to take the following week. Luckily, I did survive and manage to complete all my assignments on time but I could not have done it without coffee and my Out of Print clothing.

IMG_1320

IMG_1249

Since I spent most of my mornings, afternoons, and nights studying and writing essays, I kept my outfits simple and comfortable.  I didn’t want to completely abandon my love of looking stylish, but I didn’t always have time to plan outfits, so I stuck with the basics, like leggings, a sweatshirt, a vest, and slip on sneakers.

IMG_1269

Starting from the bottom with my new favorite shoes.  My shoes summed up my mood during finals week.  I was so over the early mornings writing essays and long nights studying.  I love these unique and sassy shoes from Circus by Sam Edelman.  Even better, I scored a great deal on these designer shoes on Black Friday.

IMG_1266

For my pants, I am just wearing basic black leggings from Cotton On.  Nothing to interesting, but I could not live without leggings.

IMG_1291

No surprise here, but again I am wearing my Old Navy black puffer vest.  Since it has been a very warm December (I am not complaining) all I need is my fleece-lined vest to keep warm on the long walk to the library or campus coffee shop.

IMG_1262

Next, the main piece of my outfit is my sweatshirt from Out of Print.  Out of Print offers a variety of products, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, pouches, mugs, and so on.  Best part is that when you buy one of their products, the company donates a book to a community in need and also supports authors, publishers, and artists to continue to be inspired and showcase their talent.  My Out of Print Library Stamp Sweatshirt is super soft and features a vintage library stamp-inspired pattern.  So unique! It is perfect for finals week because the sweatshirt is so comfortable and the pattern speaks to me, considering I spent many days and nights at the library.

IMG_1279

For accessories, my tote bag brings back some childhood memories.  I loved reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Such a classic!  Of course, I am in love with my Out of Print tote bag that features the cover of my favorite childhood book.  In my tote you can find my laptop and all my notebooks and textbooks needed to ace my finals.  Also tucked in my tote bag is my pencil pouch which also came from Out of Print. My Composition Notebook Pouch holds all my pens and highlighters, and perfectly matches the book theme.

IMG_1274

IMG_1298

IMG_1308

Now that finals are over, I look forward to the holidays, relaxing at home, and posting more and more on the blog.  Let the blogger brainstorm session begin, which means if you have any ideas let me know in the comments below.  Talk to you all soon!

Poncho Season

IMG_1223

Hooray for the poncho trend, which comes in handy for those crisp, fall mornings when you just feel like showing up to class wrapped in a warm comfy blanket. A poncho is basically a warm piece of fabric that drapes across your body. It’s hard to find something more comfy, cozy, and stylish than a poncho. It’s so easy to style your poncho with jeans or leggings, a simple long-sleeve shirt, boots, and minimal jewelry. You’ll look like you’re walking down the runway, when in reality you did not want to leave your bed that morning.

IMG_1192

IMG_1237

The poncho featured in today’s post is from Forever 21. I love the tribal design and all the deep red, orange, gray, and navy shades. This poncho features all the colors of fall, making it a great piece to wear for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. If you are looking for a poncho to wear for Thanksgiving, try Forever 21. They have a huge variety of colors and designs. The best thing about ponchos is the loose fit, so go ahead indulge in that extra slice of pumpkin pie.

IMG_1188

IMG_1221

Since my poncho flows over most of my body, I decided to wear a basic black long-sleeve shirt from Old Navy. Most of the time, your shirt is hidden behind your poncho, so keep it basic. Speaking of keeping it basic, my pair of simple black leggings from Madewell complete the comfy, cozy style I was going for today.

IMG_1208

For jewelry, I am featuring my new elephant necklace from Apricot Lane. Nothing is better than wearing an elephant around your neck for some extra strength and fortune throughout the day.

IMG_1219

Nothing completes a fall look without a pair of boots. I found these taupe colored suede booties by Steve Madden in the back of my closet. I must have bought them at the end of the fall season last year and totally forgot about them. I love the detail on the back, so unexpected and eye-catching. Can’t wait to wear them with many more fall outfits.

IMG_1199

IMG_1203

The poncho is a different take on your typical fall sweater. I have two ponchos in my wardrobe, but my collection is growing. Continue the discussion below, telling me if you are on board with the poncho trend. I would love to hear your thoughts! Until next time…

Before The Sun Sets

IMG_1149

Daylight saving time has really hit me hard. And, in case you didn’t know it is “saving” not “savings.” It’s been a week and I still can’t get used to the time change. Walking back from class at five o’clock and it is pitch black outside really makes me long for spring. Plus, by like seven o’clock I am so ready for bed. I guess this only means one thing…the winter is coming!

IMG_1141

It was such a beautiful day so I could not let the day pass without going outside to take a few photos. Sadly, I had class until late afternoon so I rushed home to make sure I had time to snap some photos before the sun went down. The sun was just setting, hence the darker look and random orange spots on my head.

I always like to look nice for class. Although, most people probably do not notice, I feel more confident and energized when I am “dressed up.” Don’t get me wrong, sweat pants are so comfortable but I do not think they are appropriate for class, no matter how many times you have pressed that snooze button. After classes is another story, that is where you will find me in my lounge attire. Here’s a peek of what I normally wear to class.

IMG_1155

Who wouldn’t feel like a star while wearing this sweater? My new taupe and black star patterned sweater is from H&M. The bold pattern on my sweater is enough to make a statement, no jewelry required.

IMG_1162

Are you getting sick of seeing me wear my Old Navy vests? I hope not because I can’t stop wearing them. I actually bought another one in a cream color last week. My obsession continues. My Old Navy fleece-lined puffer vest adds extra warmth and style to any outfit.

IMG_1164

The jeans I’m wearing are from Madewell. Last spring, I bought these “cargo green” colored jeans (even though the green color is not showing up as vibrant in these photos). I always thought this green color was for the spring time, but I am determined to make them work for the fall. The perfect way to transition them into the fall is by pairing them with a dark colored sweater.

IMG_1167

IMG_1159

My sparkly, eye-catching flats are by Steve Madden. To play up another pattern and incorporate more neutral colors, I always choose these shoes.

IMG_1171

Finally, my class day is over. Now time to put on some leggings and a baggy sweatshirt and relax. I can’t wait to show you another one of my class day outfits. Until then, go out and enjoy the beautiful season of fall. Before we know it, there will be snow on the ground.

On Repeat

IMG_1096

Nothing is better than escaping college life by getting in the car, going off campus, and doing some shopping, even if it is by yourself. A few days ago I found out that retail therapy does exist. I was feeling a little down, and decided to pick myself up with something I love to do and that something is shopping. I was pretty bummed that nobody was around to go on a shopping trip with me, but what I found is that a little me time is just what I needed to overcome my blues.

IMG_1126

On another note, it has been such a warm fall in New England. I am so scared that by pointing this out, I’ll jinx the weather and tomorrow there will be a snow storm. But, I am enjoying this “Indian Summer” because I get to wear a typical fall outfit, jeans, sweater, and boots without shivering. Like I always say fall fashion is the best fashion.

IMG_1107

Today’s outfit features two new pieces from my latest shopping trip. I like to call the “sweater” I am wearing, a scarf with sleeves. Just imagine your favorite scarf with sleeves draped over your body. I found this unique piece at Apricot Lane. I love the deep emerald and burgundy colors, as well as the fringe detailing at the bottom. To let the shawl be the focal point, a white t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt is all you need to wear underneath.

IMG_1113

IMG_1118

A spontaneous trip to Old Navy left me with a shopping bag full of new items which included two vests (I feature one here) and a pair of jeans. Their Rockstar High Rise Skinny Jeans have become my favorite jean because of their comfortable fit. I also love the distressed detail because who doesn’t love holes in their jeans?

IMG_1120

IMG_1136

To bring out more of the rich shades of fall, I am wearing my purple amethyst gem stone necklace from H&M. My philosophy is the more color the better.

IMG_1114

For shoes, last year’s Burlington Coat Factory studded booties have been my go-to. They are falling apart, but I refuse to retire these shoes. I am in dire need of a new pair of booties. Any suggestions?

IMG_1134

That’s it for today’s post. Like the title above says, my jeans and shawl have been on repeat. Whether worn together or with different pieces from my wardrobe, they certainly have made a statement this fall. Share with me in the comments below your fall outfit that has been on repeat?

Welcome to Townhouse 71

12046822_1120902651271437_3826808894740886322_n

Block seven, house number one. This is where me and my three best friends will spend our junior year of college. These past few weeks have been filled with laughter, music blasting, some schoolwork being done, and of course decorating.

Since this was my third year moving onto campus, I was more excited than nervous. Every year it becomes easier and easier and I owe it all to Bed Bath& Beyond. Thanks to Bed Bath & Beyond’s college checklist college shopping was stress free and more fun this year.

The checklist had all the essentials from Twin XL sheets, stylish comforters, lamps, décor, dorm appropriate kitchen essentials, all making this year’s back to college shopping a little less overwhelming.

For the most part, my back to college shopping was done in one day with the help of their checklist and a personal shopper to guide me through the enormous back to school section at Bed Bath & Beyond.

My friends and I are obsessed with our townhouse. Our Bed Bath & Beyond items really makes our place feel like home. We love our house so much that we want to share our house with the blogging world.

I was inspired to write this post after watching a rerun of MTV Cribs. So read this post, like you are watching an episode of MTV Cribs. It’s time to get started.

Welcome to our new home Townhouse 71 or we like to call it, Townhouse “Seventy Fun.” In today’s episode, I will be showcasing our fabulous kitchen, common area, and my bedroom. Follow me.

The four of us feel like grown-ups this year because now that we have a full kitchen we don’t have to rely on the cafeteria. Although, it is still early in the year, we have been experimenting with cooking different meals. By shopping at Bed Bath & Beyond, I was able to purchase all the kitchen essentials to cook or bake anything. My Rubbermaid® Flex & Seal 26 piece storage set has come in handy to keep food fresh and store any leftovers. The best thing about living close to home is having my mom bring up some of my favorite home cooked meals. I can rely on my tupperware to hold all my yummy food. Best part is that this set includes lids that snap together with the container so you can neatly organize your tupperware and always find what you are looking for. My Wilton® Round Cake Pan and Cookie Sheets have been used every night. They can be used to cook pretty much ANYTHING, like baked chicken, fish, French fries, cookies, and so on. They have a nonstick finish and are good quality, so I am certain they will last all year. It’s the little things we almost forgot to buy, like serving spoons, spatulas, soup ladles, and other kitchen utensils. The 7-piece kitchen utensil set from Bed Bath & Beyond includes all the kitchen essentials we need to cook up some gourmet meals.

Kitchen

Our common area is where the four of us will spend countless hours hanging out, watching television, and acting like goofballs. It is also the area we like to spend time with our friends and take a break from the stress of college. Easily, the common room is my favorite area of the house. It is the best decorated room, all thanks to Bed Bath & Beyond. Our Folding Club Chair is super soft and comfy. Whenever we have friends over, you can find our friends chilling in this chair. It’s a great addition to the room and provides extra seating. The basic black color goes with our room décor and I believe the chair makes our room more “homey.”

IMG_1436

For extra storage and our TV stand, we use the Real Simple® 9-cube storage unit. The basic white color allows us to decorate with pattern cloth bins for storage. We keep everything in this storage unit, such as computer chargers, board games, coloring books, and so on; the perfect item to reduce clutter.

IMG_1421

My roommates and I are constantly on the go. We all have busy schedules and sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everything. Our Wallpops® Peel and Stick Dry Erase Dot Decal is where we leave each other notes, post our schedules, inspiring quotes, and other important info. We decided to go with red for a pop of color in the common room.

12039650_1120902657938103_8248752408435728792_n

My roommates and I have been friends for three years, so of course we have tons of memories and what better way to remember all our crazy times than with photos. I love the Umbra® Hangit Photo Display which displays all our photos on a giant clothesline display. It brightens up the room and is a convo starter. We always find ourselves looking at the photos and saying remember when…

11174936_1120902991271403_5951818508072893295_n

Last but not least is my bedroom. I hardly spend anytime in my bedroom. For me it’s only a place to sleep, but that doesn’t mean that it should not be well decorated. The favorite part of my room has to be my multi-colored floral printed comforter. My Fanfare® 4-piece comforter set makes a statement on my side of my room. It is so vibrant and eye-catching. Certainly, the turquoise, coral, and purple colors brighten up my room. When I need to take a break and relax, I always count on my faux suede backrest. It is the perfect addition to my bed and the coral color perfectly matches.

IMG_1534

IMG_1493

Next to my bed, you will find a Way Basics® White Quad decorated with turquoise cloth bins. This storage unit acts as my bed stand and the place where I store all the essentials, like school supplies, medicine, lotion, mouthwash, nail polish remover, and so much more.

IMG_1529

IMG_1483

Like I mentioned above, I love photos because they are the best way to relive memories, so of course I had to include one of the Umbra® Hangit Photo Displays in my room. I’m still in shock with how many photos this piece can hold. Just being in school for a couple weeks now, my roommates and me have taken tons of photos so I can’t wait to add more recent photos to my display.

IMG_1474

Although my laundry basket is tucked away in the closet of our bathroom, I still wanted a laundry basket to match my color scheme. I hate doing laundry, but this coral colored pop up mesh laundry basket makes the chore of doing laundry a little better.

Screen Shot 2015-09-26 at 9.32.25 PM

Below you will find a few more photos of my favorite items found around our house.

So this concludes another episode of my version of MTV Cribs college edition. Townhouse 71 is my home away from home. I wouldn’t want to spend my junior year any other way. I am so thankful to be living with my three best friends in a beautiful townhouse decorated by Bed Bath & Beyond. So far, junior year is off to a great start, but many adventures still await.

All About The Details

IMG_0795

Boring outfits are so last season. I love taking simple pieces and adding fun accessories turning my outfit from drab to fab. Today’s post highlights my new colorful bag from Upcycled Styles. My embellished cross body bag causes heads to turn and it never fails to get people inquiring as to where I found such a unique item.

IMG_0856

The answer is Upcycled Styles. This registered Thai company upholds and follows a Fair Labor and Child Labor policy. Upcycled Styles strives to promote ethical working conditions to make sure each of their workers have access to life essentials and education to succeed in life. Upcycled Styles works closely with the Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand and showcases these artisans’ talents and creativity.

IMG_0808

I found out that my bag was made by a group of ten gifted women. All of them added their personal touch to my bag and I couldn’t be more proud to wear it. I enjoy wearing this bag knowing that not only does it look good, but I am doing good promoting a company that practices fair work practices.

IMG_0961

The colors, pattern, and fringe give this purse a boho vibe, which we all know is my favorite style.

IMG_0904

My casual, laid back look would not be complete without this black and white checkerboard print shirtdress from Zara. With long sleeves and dark colors, it makes for a great piece to wear as the weather transitions from summer to autumn.

IMG_0800

When in doubt, for shoes, I always turn to my black Converse. Simple, sporty, and stylish. Perfect.

Since this dress has a low neck, the perfect accessory is a short necklace. I love my black suede cord necklace with inspirational words. This motivates throughout the day.

IMG_0859

I added more to my look by sporting a pair of multi colored sunglasses. Thanks to a random street vendor in New York City, these sunglasses are my go-to pair when I want to feel extra cool.

IMG_0916

If you are looking for unique, colorful, detailed bags, wallets, clothes, and accessories, look no further than Upcycled Styles. As you can see, I am obsessed with their eye-catching bags and will be giving away a very special bag to one of my readers. Interested in winning this colorful, statement bag? It’s easy; just leave me a comment telling me how you would style a popular Upcycled Styles bag.

I Love My Boyfriend (Jeans)

IMG_0626

Who needs a boyfriend when you have a pair of fabulous jeans? Sadly, there’s no man in my life; however, I am in a committed relationship with my new boyfriend jeans from Madewell.

IMG_0739

It wasn’t until recently, I jumped on the boyfriend jeans bandwagon. It seems like the skinny jean trend has died out. Now all the buzz is about slouchy, shapeless jeans. Every time I try on a pair of boyfriend jeans, I feel stupid and out of place; however that changed when I took a risk and bought a pair of boyfriend jeans. It has taken some time for me to get use to the fit because I have been so use to tight fitting jeans. Now that I am use to boyfriend jeans, I am obsessed with the loose, comfy fit. Best part about boyfriend jeans is they are so easy to style. One pair of boyfriend jeans can create several outfits. I have seen these jeans paired with blazers, t-shirts, wedges, boots, sneakers, stilettos, and so on.

IMG_0678

IMG_0617

I love the look of my Madewell boyfriend jeans. I think the distressed design gives my jeans a laidback look. Hands down, Madewell has the best jeans and that means a lot coming from someone who has always hated jeans. One of my favorite ways I’ve seen bloggers style boyfriend jeans is with a simple, solid V-neck tee. My $5 black V-neck shirt from H&M perfectly matched my jeans and the style I was going for.

IMG_0666

IMG_0686

Usually I don’t wear statement accessories, but this outfit needed a long necklace. Whenever I want to add the boho style to an outfit, I choose my Lucky Brand necklace, which features gold charms and pops of turquoise beads. As I mentioned above, boyfriend jeans look great with really any type of shoe. For me, I love wearing these leopard slip-on sneakers from Target. Every outfit needs a little leopard, don’t you agree? It was a super hot and sunny day. No matter what the temperature is I always want to wear my boyfriend jeans; the things I do for fashion. To shield my eyes from the sun, I chose to wear my rounded sunglasses from Urban Outfitters.

IMG_0653

Next time you are shopping, pick up a pair of boyfriend jeans, even if you don’t think you will look good in them. The decision to buy my first pair of boyfriend jeans was well worth it. Here’s to being single and ready to mingle, of course while wearing my boyfriend jeans.

Back 2 School

IMG_0985

Who knew that three words could cause so much anxiety…back to school. Although summer has not officially ended on the calendar, my summer ended when I walked into my first class.

From elementary school to middle school to high school and now college, I always experience back to school jitters, especially the night before classes start.

College is a different experience because I find you don’t need many school supplies. In elementary school you needed markers, crayons, glue sticks, and much more. In high school you needed a binder and notebook for every subject. Luckily, I only take five classes in college and most of them allow us to use our laptops for note taking. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t need any school supplies.

IMG_1011

I found all of my back to school essentials at Office Depot and OfficeMax stores and online at officedepot.com. Their brick-and-mortar store and online shop offered all the supplies I needed to gear up for my junior year of college. Office Depot and OfficeMax had a huge variety of supplies, allowing students to pick items that fit their styles and needs at prices they will love.

In this post, I am giving tips on how to stay organized and I’ll give you a peek at all my new school supplies with special thanks to Office Depot and OfficeMax. Although, the first week of classes proved that this semester would be challenging, I’m confident that my new school supplies will support a successful semester.

IMG_1004

Want to know a secret? Well it’s not really a secret because anyone who sees my handwritten notes will realize I have awful handwriting. There are only a few pens that make my handwriting more legible and those pens have to be rolling ball pens. I love the Pilot Precise Rolling Ball Pens and I knew Office Depot and OfficeMax would sell them for the best price. I love using colorful pens when taking notes because colorful pens allow me to organize my notes better and I find myself remembering more of the information when my notes are vibrant and colorful. These Pilot rolling ball pens are not just colorful but they provide comfort for smooth and neat writing.

IMG_1023

Of course blue and black ink pens are essentials for test taking or when your professor frowns on the use of colorful pens. Luckily, I found at Office Depot and OfficeMax a 12 pack of Bic Unique Soft Barrel and Grip retractable pens in black ink. The soft feel and comfortable grip will help me ace all my tests.

IMG_1026

I can’t live without highlighters. Highlighters are my go to supply when reading class materials and taking notes. I love the Office Depot brand highlighters because the colors are super bright and vibrant and 12 highlighters come in a pack, so I am set for the year. I’ll use these gorgeous florescent highlighters throughout the year to color coordinate my notes and pin point the most useful information in textbooks and print outs.

IMG_1021

Now that I am all set with writing instruments, I need something to write on. Once again, Office Depot and OfficeMax had me covered. This gold polka dot patterned Divoga college ruled notebook has become my everyday notebook for jotting down notes, reminders, and ideas for upcoming blog posts. I carry a notebook with me wherever I go because you never know when creative thoughts will spark. I love how lightweight this notebook is, so it can fit anywhere, whether in my backpack or purse.

IMG_1000

I get tons of handouts to read throughout the semester so I need a folder to organize all my papers and this stylish Divoga folder is perfect. I love the metallic gold print and how it compliments my notebook. You can see that I like to style to all aspects of my life, even my school supplies and you can’t beat the price of only $1 per folder.

I love to have a huge variety of pens and highlighters on hand and one of my pet peeves is is being disorganized. So, I am not that person that lets these pens just make their way haphazardly to the bottom of a school bag. Instead, I like to keep everything organized so I can easily find what I am looking for. I’m so happy I found this Divoga pencil pouch. Not only does it keep all my pens and highlighters neatly in one place, but again, the gold and mint color scheme perfectly matches my notebook and folders. This pencil case scores major style points for me.

IMG_0992

Although most classes have started for us students, if you are still looking for the trendiest backpacks, must-have tech items, and necessary school supplies all at low prices, look no further than Office Depot and OfficeMax. Let me know in the comments below what your must haves are for a successful school year? Good luck!

Color Splash

IMG_0580

Since I spend most of my days and nights working on my blog, visiting my favorite fashion blogs, reading about the latest trends, and of course online shopping, my style is constantly changing. I have been inspired to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with different styles, patterns, and colors.

IMG_0534

Enter this bright, colorful dress. Before we say goodbye to summer and we start dressing in more dark colors, I decided to find a fun, colorful summer dress. Thanks to this spaghetti strapped tie-dye print dress from the online store Zaful, I was able to capture more of summer before the fall months begin.

IMG_0588

IMG_0597

Zaful is your one-stop online shop offering a huge selection of stylish dresses, rompers, tops, sweaters, jeans, and the list goes on. It’s the perfect online shop for fashionistas to find affordable and stylish clothes, allowing them to keep up with the latest trends. I love how Zaful sells quality clothing, shoes, and accessories from up and coming designers so everyone can find something that is unique to their style.

Certainly, my dress makes a colorful statement, so I did not need many accessories. I paired this dress with a light colored denim vest from Forever 21. I always like to wear a vest, jacket, or sweater with a summer dress to complete the look. Plus, I am always cold, so an extra layer is a must for me. My summer time dress could easily be styled with sandals, but for a more casual, sporty look I wore my slip on white Converse. I finished off my look with a long charm necklace with inspiring words, my LOFT sunglasses, and my hair in a braid to keep it out of my face. This look proves that sometimes the simplest outfits make the biggest statement.

On another note, I can’t believe summer is coming to an end. I have been so busy preparing for my junior year of college and creating new content for my blog. Let me know in the comments below how all of you are spending the last few weeks of summer?

Class Wear

IMG_8351

Where did the time go? It’s hard to believe that I finished my last week of classes of my sophomore year of college. It’s been a good semester, filled with lots of fun and of course hard-work. I want to capture one last stylish outfit for what to wear to class before finals begin this week because then I will be living in leggings and t-shirts.

For the most part, I like to look nice for my classes. Although, I am up early for my classes, I still get excited going through my closet and putting together outfits for the day. When I feel stylish, I feel more confident, and more motivated to take on my busy day. On sunny days with temps in the mid 60s, I enjoy wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a short-sleeved shirt, and of course my Converse sneakers. An outfit like this is casual and comfortable for class but not as basic as your typical sweatpants look.

IMG_8336

I’m a huge fan of Madewell denim, so naturally I have been enjoying these new jeans from their spring collection. I can’t get enough of their skinny jeans they call the painter editors because of their artfully distressed design. A cool feature of these jeans is that the paint and smudge detailing is different on every pair. These unique jeans will have you looking and feeling great.

IMG_8262

I don’t want to draw attention away from the beautiful paint splatter detailing, so I chose to wear a basic, grey short-sleeved shirt from Apricot Lane. I love the fit of the shirt because its nice flow and perfect length.

IMG_8268

Of course, I decided to wear my black Converse sneakers. These sneakers have been through it all. Longs days of walking around campus, going to classes, strolling the streets of NYC, and even concerts. I’m surprised they haven’t fallen apart. Although, they are still in great condition, a new pair is on my wish-list. Black Converse are so versatile and they give any outfit a sporty, casual vibe.

IMG_8251

In my opinion, the best way to make any outfit less boring is to add a silver statement necklace. My fringe inspired necklace from Forever 21 goes with any shirt and you’ll find the fringe trend is so popular for spring.

IMG_8271

Obviously, before I walk out the door for a busy day of classes, I need a bag to carry my books and laptop. My Steve Madden book bag has been with me for the whole school year. It has two pockets, a large one for holding my books and a smaller pocket for other essentials like pens, pencils, hand sanitizer, and of course chewing gum.

IMG_8203

Last but certainly not least, I have a delicious French vanilla coffee in hand and I am ready to conquer the day.

IMG_8326

It’s been a great semester and now it is time for the real stress to begin. FINALS! Here’s to cup after cup of coffee, a few all-nighters, and a mind and body totally ready for the summer break.

Reflections

I always wanted to write a reflections post after graduating from college, but I did not expect it to take so long for me to sit down and actually write it.  With that being said and the absence from my blog over the last couple weeks, I don’t do well with transitions.  So the transition from a college student to a college grad, to moving back home, to applying for full time jobs and waiting to start my next adventure has been difficult.  Lately, there have been more days plagued with lack of motivation and inspiration.  These days have been frustrating because I often times find myself staring at a blank computer screen with a mind full of overwhelming thoughts that just leave me puzzled.

Yes, it has only been a little over a week since graduation, but for me a week to long of just feeling blah.  Everyone has told me to give myself as much time as I need to regroup and readjust to my new surroundings, but after a week I am sick of just laying on the couch and just waiting for the next bright idea to strike.  So today, I decided to return to my old roots of putting on a nice outfit, my favorite eye shadow look of bronzy shades, sit at the dining room table and blast some of my favorite tunes.  I am finally ready to reflect on what it means to be a college grad.

To be honest, after graduating from college I still don’t understand the phrase “college is the best four years of your life.”  Don’t get me wrong, these last four years have been incredible and I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend such an amazing school and receive a well-rounded education, but I would not describe the last four years as just “best.”  The last four years have been fun, demanding, gratifying, confusing, discouraging, and so on.  As you can see, I experienced a mix of emotions during my college years.  For me, college is the most complicated four years of your life, but I would not trade my experiences, whether good or bad for anything.

It was these past four years, living on a college campus surrounded by different people that allowed me to learn lessons I would not have just learned from a textbook.  Sure, my calculus class, philosophy class, communication and journalism courses, all taught me some valuable lessons, but it was those experiences, whether it was accidently sleeping through your alarm, or not knowing who to eat with at the cafeteria, figuring out which friends were actually friends, accepting that you deserve better than that all star athlete of a guy and so on, that built character and made me the strong person I am today.

Before graduating, I heard all my friends say how they would do anything to go back to freshman year, but for me there is only one year I would love to relive if I had the chance and that would be my senior year.  It was in my last year of college that I discovered my true friends. It was in my last year of college when there were more days filled with laughter than tears.  It was in my last year of college that all the memories that make me smile were made. It was in my last year of college that I finally accepted to let go of what I thought were my “close friends” since sophomore year (that’s a story for a whole different blog post) and see the potential in other people, who I am now thankful and certain to call my friends for life.  It was in my last year of college thanks to my amazing family, friends, and professors where I started to love myself and see all the things that made me different, like my creativity, my blog, my sensitivity, my love for fashion as a strength rather than a weakness.  Finally, it was in my last year of college that made the last four years totally worth it.

As someone who has always been a planner and would have thought to have the next stage of my life already figured out, I don’t, and that has certainly been hard to accept.  But being a college graduate for almost 2 weeks now, I realize that it’s ok to take time to reenergize for the next adventure in my life, whatever that may be.  The job-hunting process has been frustrating, but with patience and determination I know that dream job of mine will come.  Just like four years ago I was that timid, little freshman not knowing how I was going to make it through college, I somehow managed to get through it, so certainly finding a job and making sense out of the next stage of my life is not too big of a obstacle for me to face.

Although, I currently have the feeling of not being able to capture all my thoughts in a single post, I decided that writing one post that may not say everything is better than writing no post that says nothing.  I mean I was in college for four years, which means I won’t be able to speak about everything, but that’s the beauty of blogging I can always upload more posts when I am ready.  And let me tell you, the last four years has certainly been a roller coaster of ups and downs and twists and turns, so I am ready to share my story, advice, and tips, so is there anything specific you would like to know about my college experience?  If so, let me know in the comments below.  I might not have everything figured out right now, but I am certain about one thing…that LivForStyle is back.

It’s been five days and I am still on a fashion high from Saturday’s Her Campus Fashion Show.  It was a night filled with awesome style, lots of freebies, great music, loads of pictures, and most importantly empowerment.  As I mentioned in my previous post, all four of the fashion shows featured creative entrepreneur designers, including My Social CanvasForayAli & ArielFrill Clothing, and Bow & Drape.  I loved watching the models strut on the runway, featuring the amazing designs from the four designers.  I was so impressed with the fashion and I was so happy I got the chance to support these designers because I have a feeling they are going to make a statement in the fashion world very soon.

img_4680

Although, the fashion show was the highlight of my New York City trip, it was not the only thing I experienced.  I didn’t get back to campus until around 3 A.M, so that means I must have more to share.  So keep on reading for even more about my experience at Her Campus College Fashion Week in New York City.

img_4678

I could not have survived this trip without my best friend, Lauren, who herself is a fashionista and the girl behind the lens when it comes to the photos on LivForStyle.  Lauren and I killed it in the city, like we always do. It’s never a dull moment when the two of us are together, so I am so happy she was able to experience this night with me. We both dressed to impressed and after looking at the photos, I think we totally nailed it.  Keep your eyes open for a whole post dedicated to our outfits.  Coming soon to a screen near you 😉

img_4734

Of course, the train ride to the city felt like it took forever. But when we finally arrived at the venue, it was show time.  But, before the shows started we had the chance to check out all the fun tables scattered around the venue.  These included some great sponsors and their wonderful products.  The list included European Wax CenterInsomnia CookiesBertha WatchesSparkling IceBoxed Water, and more.

The night consisted of four shows.  The themes included Rush, Festival, Study Chic, and Girl’s Night Out. Naturally, the Girl’s Night Out show was my favorite because it featured lots of leather and knee high boots, which are such fall and winter staples.  I really enjoyed that after each show, the audience was given about 15 minutes to mingle and network with other attendees.  I made some great new contacts. All the models rocked every look.  They were all so fierce and their smiles were contagious, leaving everyone in the audience in absolute wonder and awe.  I can’t wait to go shopping because the models totally inspired me to try some new looks this season.

When the last show wrapped up, Lauren and I were both sad.  We said our final good-byes to the friends we made, collected our stuff, and headed back to the subway.  Our melancholy quickly evaporated when we took a peak inside our exclusive goodie bag from the show.  To my surprise, the goodie bag was filled with awesome gifts.  Inside I found a FitBitVince Camuto perfume, a Rebecca Minkoff clutch, a bunch of Maidenform items, a free service at the DryBar, Essie nail polish, the latest issue of People Style Watch magazine, Kind bars, and so much more.

img_4724

img_4808

When we hopped off the subway, our tummies were growling and we knew we wanted our night in the city to continue.  After stopping at a local pub and having a much needed glass of wine, we talked for hours about the show and our goodie bags.  Lauren and I had so much fun that when we finally looked at the time it was almost 1:30 A.M and quickly ran to Grand Central Station to catch the last train.

img_4792

When we got back to campus around 3 A.M we couldn’t keep our eyes open.  You know it’s been a great night in the city when your eyes can’t stay open, your body aches, your feet hurt, and your makeup is smudged.  Lauren and I both agree that Saturday night was a night to remember. Lots of fashion, lots of laughs, lots of mingling, and lots of dancing, no wonder why we are still catching up on our sleep.

Thanks to Her Campus for sponsoring such an amazing event and thanks Lauren for being my partner in fashion.

Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology

One of the many things on my summer bucket list was to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to see their exciting fashion exhibit, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. Luckily, a few weeks ago I had the chance to explore the exhibit and the entire museum.

IMG_3155

IMG_3167

IMG_3191

IMG_3189

I was blown away by how extensive the exhibit was. The exhibit includes over 170 ensembles, showing that fashion is more than just dressing but truly an art form. Each piece showcased in the exhibit highlighted the connection between technology and fashion.

IMG_3184

IMG_3152

IMG_3195

IMG_3208

I enjoyed how the exhibit was divided based on fabrication or detail, including pleats, tulle, sequins, feathers, embroidery, artificial flowers, and lace. This really emphasized how special each piece was and the role of the hand (manus) and the machine (machina) in the design and manufacture of the piece.

When I was walking around the exhibit, I made sure to take a few photos and jot down a few of my reactions to what I saw. Keep on reading to hear my commentary on the exhibit and the evolving fashion world.

  • Although, we shouldn’t heavily rely on technology, let’s face it our world is becoming more technologically advanced whether we like it or not. So instead of ignoring these achievements within technology we must recognize them and use them to our advantage.
  • We should always keep in mind the differences between the hand and the machine. To be honest, no machine could produce as incredible a piece than the hand because a hand-crafted piece is one of a kind, taking patience, time, and dedication to the craft.
  • I agree hand-made items are seen as more valuable; however we can’t completely neglect technology or see it as less valuable. Just like Miuccia Prada said, “For me, mixing the hand and the machine gives the best results.” To me, what is most valuable is the designer’s passion and time they put into their design.
    IMG_3127
  • While looking at the many pieces throughout the exhibit, I noticed that most of the embroidery and floral details were done by hand so the artist/designer could strategically hand place crystals or other embellishments onto the fabric, thus making it more unique.
  • After learning more about the distinction between the hand and the machine, I realized you have more control over things produced by hand, meaning you can manipulate your piece in a way that is visually appealing to your audience.IMG_3209
  • Regarding the hand, imperfections are generally only seen in handmade products. Unlike a machine, humans cannot make everything perfect. However, instead of finding fault in a misplaced button or crystal we actually find beauty and uniqueness in it.
  • The exhibit also touched on the differences between ready to wear fashion and haute couture. Now we live in a world that mostly follows the ready to wear fashion model. However, one of thee most important distinctions between ready to wear fashion and haute couture is in the details. For example, just look at the elaborate embroidery in the wedding dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. That piece of haute couture fashion cannot be produced in one day.
  • Lastly, the most beautiful gowns worn by celebrities on the red carpet or the clothes we have in our very own closet are all produced with the help from the hand and the machine.IMG_3201

Are you a big fashion lover or art fan? I highly suggest visiting the met in New York City before this exhibit closes on September 5th. You won’t regret it. For those who have seen the exhibit what were some of your highlights of your trip?

My Commute Playlist

My 45-minute train ride to and from Grand Central Station consists of napping, thinking, and writing blog posts all while listening to music. I get through the not so fun commute with a little help from Spotify music. Just like not having one style of fashion I enjoy wearing, I don’t have one style of music I enjoy listening to. I listen to all sorts of genres of music, like rap, pop, alternative, and techno. However, the music I tend to listen to on the train are songs that will pump me up in the morning for the new day ahead of me and help me unwind on my way back home after a long day.

1dd18e3b5476b24eb426919ebe76a308

Beautiful Day– U2

This is a great morning song. When all I want to do is head home and get right into my bed I know that each day is a gift and I am so lucky that every day I get the chance to be in the city I love. The lyrics, “it’s a beautiful day don’t let it get away,” inspire me to look at all the positives throughout my day.

67b3b302e230374c2fe3825924851f99

The Anthem– Good Charlotte

A great pump up song. This song just makes me want to dance and sing in the aisles of the train. However, to avoid stares from people on the train, I just head bob and lip synch from my seat, even though people still stare. I guess they don’t know good music.

Wait Til You See My Smile– Alicia Keys

This song goes out to all those people who have turned their back on me for no reason, took advantage of me, or simply did not believe in me. This song is so beautiful and so inspiring. Just like the lyrics say, to all those people who “love to see you down” prove them otherwise.

90bdaadf43ca57bd891025e0cb36f13f

Girls Chase Boys– Ingrid Michaelson

Love the catchy beat of this song. Plus, it perfectly describes the struggle with love. Girls like to play hard to get and then boys like to play their own games; however, the only thing this leads to is miscommunication and chaos. Why does falling in love have to be so complicated?

Long Way Home- The Goo Goo Dolls

In my 21 years on this earth, I learned that life’s a journey, filled with many ups and downs. Unfortunately, things aren’t always handed to you on a silver platter. Instead, you have to work for what you want, even if it means going through tough times. I find this song super relatable especially when I’m entering the “adult world” and trying to build a name for myself, but no matter how hard it gets “you can’t let go…”

93bca71e03ab1ad99e907197bced1907

No Money– Galantis

If it wasn’t for me spending time discovering new playlists, I would have never of found this song. Such a catchy and upbeat song, making it perfect for the commute to and from the city.

Love Yourself vs. F*ck Your Self– Yo Preston feat- Kelly Kiara

So happy I found this cover because it’s genius. I always get annoyed when I listen to Love Yourself by the Biebs because why is it always the girl’s fault in the relationship. I guess guys are perfect. Well Kelly Kiara thinks otherwise and I totally agree!

251a1d1ddf9d02ab139e163a6c1f1dce

Ribs– Lorde

Ever since the song Royals I have been a huge fan of Lorde. I love her music. Ribs is a great song to play when you just want to close your eyes take a deep breath and relax

Send Your Love To Your New Lover– Adele

I mean of course you need some Adele on your playlist. This song has become my anthem. It’s so relatable plus the memorable lyrics and beat has me singing along. Hands down, one of my favorite Adele songs.

fadcb89be971a47301db37abf018bd41

Pursuit of Happiness– Kid Cudi

If you need a pump up song for your morning or when you are dragging in the afternoon, this song will get your blood pumping, heart racing, and head bobbing. Not only does it have a great beat but a great meaning behind the song…live a life that makes you happy.

Enjoyed reading this post? If so, don’t worry I still have more songs in my commute playlist that I want to share with you all. Let me know in the comments below some of the favorite songs you like to listen to on your to way work, heading home from work, when you need some motivation, or even when you are preparing for a night out. I love adding new songs to my playlist. After all I’m on the train twice a day for 45 minutes, 4 days a week, do the math because I’m too tired. With that being said, I need more songs, so ready, set, go….comment.

In this post, I am giving tips on how to stay organized and I’ll give you a peek at all my new school supplies with special thanks to Office Depot and Office Max.

Luckily, I found at Office Depot and Office Max a 12 pack of Bic Unique Soft Barrel and Grip retractable pens in black ink.

Good luck!

My Life As A Boy Meets Girl Intern®

IMG_0961

Beep, beep, beep my alarm goes off at 6:40 am. Rub my sleepy eyes. Another day in the city. Wash my face. Brush my teeth. Dress in the outfit I picked out the night before. Apply my usual, quick makeup routine. Pack my bag. Double check I have everything. I’m out the door. Board a crowded train. Squeeze into a sit in between business men. A 45-minute train ride feels like four hours when you haven’t had your coffee yet. Arrive at Grand Central. Trek through the streets of NYC. Finally arrive at Starbucks for a much needed venti iced coffee. Finally, I feel more awake. Arrive at the office. Jump on the elevator to the 17th floor. My day of being a summer intern begins.

That’s been my routine three days a week since the first of June. I would be lying if I said I was not mentally and physically drained. Some days were harder than others trying to get out of bed. Many days I felt like my legs were going to collapse due to all my walking and fatigue. But somehow I survived until the end. Now, I don’t rely on my phone to help me navigate through the city, and I have become a regular at my favorite Starbucks store. I guess you can say I have evolved into a real city girl.

On my last day of my internship, it was a bittersweet feeling. I was sad to leave, but was so proud of myself and everything I learned. However, I was ready to spend my last few weeks of August getting ready to school and just relaxing.

I was fortunate to work with Stacy Igel, the founder and creator of Boy Meets Girl®. She has been my mentor for the last four years. I actually met Stacy, my senior year of high school. It was during that year that Stacy discovered me through my YouTube channel and saw my passion for fashion. One day, during my spring break, Stacy invited me to the Boy Meets Girl® office to chat with her and I eventually become a brand ambassador for Boy Meets Girl® (check out the video here).

IMG_0976

Ever since that day, Stacy has had confidence in my dreams and most importantly, me. She even invited me to help her with Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week. At only a freshman in college, I was backstage at New York Fashion Week, such an incredible experience (check out the video here). Stacy’s faith in me since a young age has allowed me to continue to take risks and do what I love. Now a rising junior in college, I had the privilege to be her intern and catch a glimpse of the behind the scenes of a successful brand.

During my internship, I learned how to be more of a team player. I discovered how to be more patient and flexible. By the end of my internship I gained the confidence to trust myself to make decisions. A few of my favorite things about my internship were working on some of the Boy Meets Girl® social media platforms. I also loved researching different tech companies and learning how they could enhance a brand. However, my all time favorite thing to do was working with different bloggers to organize photo-shoots with them to promote the Boy Meets Girl® AW/HOL 2015 clothing line coming soon to Nordstrom! It brought back memories because just a couple years ago I was that blogger featured in blogger campaigns for Boy Meets Girl®, but now I was organizing these collaborations.

IMG_0946

Working for the company, I have gained more appreciation for fashion and the business side of a company. I realized that it takes a team of talented and motivated people to build a successful business, which are all good things to remember when I eventually start my own business and create my brand.

After writing this post and reflecting on my summer internship experience, I realized that my summer was extremely productive. I can’t wait to share more about the new Boy Meets Girl® AW/HOL 2015 collection. Since I was in the middle of working on this collection launch, I am even more excited to let the blogging world be part of this new line.

Only a few more days of summer left and a few more days of being at home until my next adventure begins…my junior year of college.

Belly Buttons Are So Overrated

warning-mirrorEnough is enough, from thigh gaps, to bikini bridges and now the belly button challenge. The belly button challenge is a new body trend flooding social media. I am not talking about a stylish, fashion trend that everyone should follow. Instead the belly button challenge proves that society sucks.

bellybuttonchallenge

It’s believed that this trend started in China. No matter where it started it has made an unwanted appearance on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages. The idea of this challenge is suppose to indicate if you need to lose weight. If your right arm is able to reach the left side of your navel from your back, you are thin and healthy. Completely bogus! I am not a health or fitness expert but I do have a brain and I know that touching your belly button does not prove if one is healthy. What girls fail to realize is that flexibility and long arms are the only things that determine if you can touch your belly button.

r-EATING-DISORDER-large570

Today, the pressure to become thin is stronger than ever. From personal experiences, it can be hard to get rid of the negative thoughts about your body. Constantly, one is bombarded with thoughts of feeling fat, feeling ugly, and feeling unworthy.

It seems like these body trends are harmless but instead they have dangerous outcomes. Although I believe that the media is not the sole contributor to eating disorders, these trends can still add fuel to the fire. Eating disorders are no joking matter and continue to rise among teens and adults, both males and females. According to the National Eating Disorder Association, over 30 million people of all ages and genders suffer from eating disorders. In fact, eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental disorder. I wish society kept these facts and statistics in mind before they start telling us that being thin is all that matters.

I am a huge advocate for promoting body peace. Although I find it hard to sometimes take my own advice, I strongly believe that body shaming needs to stop NOW. Since when does being thin make you a more worthy human being? I was always taught that it is what is on the inside that counts.

I can’t help but to laugh at this idea of the belly button challenge because it is nothing but complete foolishness. However, the sad part is that not all girls can laugh about it and most fall victim to society’s idea of the “perfect body.” Take the vow with me and promise not to post anything on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook that shames your body or others. It’s not worth it. Besides, belly buttons are so overrated, but being healthy never goes out of style.

Snow Day Thoughts: Future Travel Plans

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…NOT! I am not a big fan of the snow, making winter one of my least favorite seasons. This snowstorm has brought lots of snow, high winds, and inconvenience. I’m currently trapped in my dorm building. I am going stir crazy. Times like this I wish I had a transporter to magically transport me to wherever I would like to go. This whole snowstorm has me pondering the places I want to visit in the future. In no particular order, here’s my bucket list with the places I want to visit and I mean very, very soon.

  1. California- I would love to hop on a plane and travel from the East coast to the West coast. I have always wanted to visit Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Laguna Beach and other California cities where there is lots of sunshine and beaches. After following tons of YouTubers and bloggers who live in California, it looks like a beautiful place to visit.
  2. Morocco– Morocco is new to my bucket list of places to travel to. I am attracted to Morocco because to me it is an exotic and mysterious place. I would love to ride a camel, visit the beaches, and even journey through the desert.
  3. London- The weather might always be rainy and cloudy but that doesn’t stop me for wanting to visit London. I am attracted to London because it seems so similar to New York City, and we all know how much I love New York City. I would love to climb aboard the London Eye and take in the view of the beautiful London skyline. Of course, I would have to visit the Westfield Stratford City, which has over 250 shops, for a major shopping spree.
  4. Paris, France- I need to visit Paris, which is one of the fashion capitals of the world. I want to explore the streets of Paris to check out all their vintage boutiques and their extravagant stores. While I am walking the streets of Paris, I would make sure to take a picture by the Eiffel tower.
  5. Japan- I have no idea why but ever since I was a little girl I have always had this strong desire to go to Japan. I guess I am so interested to visit Japan because the culture is so different. It would be awesome to be emerged in a different culture where the food, the language, and the fashion is extremely different than what I am use to.

Those are a few places I would love to visit, but the possibilities are endless because I would love to travel around the world. A girl can dream, right? Right now, it looks like I am stuck on the East coast, in my dorm building, snowed in. Let me know what are some of the places you would love to visit.

Celebrate a new year. Celebrate a new adventure.

When I was a little girl, I would wake up, head to the family room, and tell my mom, dad, and older sister, “it’s time to get busy.” I would occupy the majority of my time digging through my big bin of markers and crayons, coloring in my coloring books or even using my favorite set of fashion stencils to sketch some outfits.

Now, almost 20 years old, nothing has changed. Now instead of getting busy with coloring books, I spend most of my time watching countless YouTube videos, reading fashion and beauty blogs, pinning my favorite things on Pinterest, and documenting my daily life on various social media sites.

My love of YouTube inspired me to launch my very own beauty and fashion channel. In two years, my channel has grown, not only with viewers but also with opportunities. YouTube has been my creative outlet and I wouldn’t change it for anything, but like I said I like to keep busy so with a new year comes a new adventure.

I am excited to announce the launch of my new site, livforstyle.net. On my website you will find posts about fashion industry news, outfit inspiration, current beauty obsessions, lifestyle posts, and much much more! Why wait until I upload a video on YouTube? Subscribe to my newsletter for this site so you know when I post a new article.

I believe my new website will offer me new and exciting opportunities. I get the chance to communicate with my readers through written posts and document my adventures through pictures.

Switching from YouTube to blogging is a major change. It’s a learning experience, but I am determined to stay consistent with my posts and provide my readers with informative and entertaining topics.

So come on this journey with me? You won’t regret it!
