Cue my favorite quote from one of my favorite movies, The Devil Wears Prada: “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.” I have to agree with Miranda Priestly, it seems like florals are always the ‘it’ pattern for every season. Although, you can count on any store or runway featuring this print, I can’t complain because I love everything flowers.
Today’s style post, not only features florals, but it’s also a dress that is perfect for the upcoming warmer days and even weddings!
Wedding season is officially here, because whenever I log onto any of my social media accounts, I’m constantly bombarded with engagement announcements or wedding countdowns. Although, I have no weddings in my future, I can’t help but to think about last year this time, when I was preparing for my sisters wedding.
I’m annoyed that I didn’t have these collection of PrettyLittleThing (yes I have two more that I need to feature) last year because they would have came in handy for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and any other wedding related activity.
But anyways, this beautiful, floral wrapped dress is from PrettyLittleThing. Click here for their great selection of spring and summer dresses that will make you the best dressed guest at any wedding. Regardless, what’s great about this dress is its ability to be worn for a casual or fancy event, with the help from proper accessories and shoes.
Because of the deep neckline, I chose my longer gold necklace with the beautiful moon charms, which are from the thrift store Buffalo Exchange, and then kept the earrings simple. But for bracelets, the more the better, so I layered my favorite gold bangles from Forever 21 and my customized charm bracelet by Cosa™.
To make this look a little more dressy and continue with the light color palette, I decided to wear my strappy heeled sandals from Marshalls.
Don’t forget to check out PrettyLittleThing.com for the best selection of dresses, especially for that moment when you receive a wedding invite from a friend or family member in the mail and you are already stressing about what you’re going to wear. Talk to you all soon!
