You will never find me without nail polish on my fingernails. No matter how busy I am, I always find time once a week to paint my nails. Call me weird, but I find sitting down and giving myself a manicure so relaxing.
For those who don’t know, I am part of my university’s chapter of Her Campus. According to the Her Campus website, “Her Campus is the #1 global community for college women”. I am very excited to be the style section editor and writer for my campus chapter. As a result of this role, I have received many great opportunities. Being part of Her Campus has definitely sharpened my journalistic skills, but hands down the best part of Her Campus is going to events on my campus that are hosted by many different companies. Not only are these events fun to attend for team bonding but also it allows me to be introduced to new companies and the awesome products they offer.
Recently, our Her Campus team hosted a Jamberry nail party, where the brand Jamberry brought their 300+ nail designs to our campus. Ever since being introduced to Jamberry nails my nails have looked so stylish.
Jamberry nails are similar to the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Stick On Nails, but in my opinion Jamberry nails last longer, look more “real”, and come in a huge variety of colors and patterns. Not to mention you get more for your buck. A sheet of Jamberry nails will allow you two manicures and two pedicures for only $15. To me that’s a bargain compared to most stick on nails that are around $10-$12 for only one manicure.
The patterns that I have been wearing include Reminisce and Sugar & Spice. I have been using my Jamberry nails for a couple weeks now and so far I am very pleased with the results. They don’t chip or flake, and I can’t stress how stylish they are. No wonder why Jamberry nails have been featured in magazines like Instyle, People Style Watch, Marie Claire, Nylon, and so much more.
As you can tell, I can’t stop raving about the formula and patterns but you might be wondering how well do they apply? Good news, Jamberry nails don’t take tons of time to apply.
First, prep your nails by filing them and rub a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol on each of your nails. Next, match your nail with the best fit from your Jamberry nail sheet, heat with a blow dryer to make it tacky, then apply it to the nail, cut off the excess and file off the rest. Lastly, take your blow dryer and heat your nail again, making sure your Jamberry nail is securely on your nail. Voilà! You are done. I promise it is so simple once you get the hang of it.
The people at Jamberry nails are not lying when they describe this new approach to manicures and pedicures as a “nail revolution.” Say goodbye to boring single colored manicures and say hello to Jamberry nails.
